JOB TITLE: Software Device Engineer – NewBay Developer Program LOCATION: Seoul, Korea JOB TYPE: Contractor, Full Time
JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a skilled software engineer with 5-7 years experience to take on an OEM device partner customer facing role in one of our core product development teams. You will work as part of the development team, but will work independently often on the customer site. The role involves making sure our partners extract the most benefit from our products, helping customers build applications as per NewBay’s guidelines, help fix customer bugs and be highly responsive and proactive ensuring a premium customers experience. The successful candidate will need to become expert in the architecture of the product and also develop and deep relationships with NewBay partners. • Develop n-tier applications in Java and Android • Respond to and prioritise customer and partner feedback • Formalise customer feedback to product and programme managers and development teams. • Pair programme with team members. • Help identify and fix customer bugs as they arise. • Peer review of design code and tests. • Participate in all aspects of agile development process. • Deploy pre-release builds to selected partner developer programme labs.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES: • Minimum 2 years java development. • Third Level Qualifications in computing, mathematics or science. • N-Tier design and development. • Knowledge of Java, Apache Tomcat – “web stack” development • Exposure to design patterns • Experience of refactoring • Understanding of application process flow. • Demonstration of problem solving techniques. • Good software engineering literacy • Excellent communication skills • Friendly and professional manner. • Experience in a customer facing role. • Ability to work independently.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving all marketing initiatives in South Korea, including demand generation, events, channel marketing programs, and public relations.He/she is responsible for managing the marketing budget for South Korea.
He/she interfaces with partners, customers, sales, Corporate marketing, analysts and external vendors.

Reporting

Responsibilities

Experience & requirements
